An integral member of the Department of Radiology and the Radiology Research program, the Research Contracts Manager will work closely with Radiology faculty, the Research Program Manager and the Clinical Research Manager.
As the Research Contracts Manager, You Will:
Facilitate and streamline the process of developing, negotiating, and executing research contracts and agreements including Collaborative Research Agreements, Sponsored Research Agreements, Comprehensive Research Agreements, Business Associate Agreements, hardware and software evaluation agreements, Clinical Trial Agreements, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, and associated statements of work.
Represent the Radiology Research program and investigators in discussions and negotiations with internal and external contract management and legal teams and monitor the execution of research agreements to ensure all obligations are met in accordance with the terms of the agreement and institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
Bachelors degree is the minimum requirement; a Masters degree is preferred with healthcare and clinical research experience.
Minimum of 5-7 years experience working in healthcare, preferably in clinical research administration.
Prior experience coordinating and executing research agreements is required.
The ideal candidate will also possess: Strong project management and analytical skills to coordinate multiple complex contracts and agreements simultaneously; strong written and verbal communication skills; well-developed interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive collaborative working relationships; and the ability to interact and communicate in a focused, poised and professional manner during complex negotiations.
Paralegal skills a plus.
