We are looking for a full time Imaging Data Services Coordinator to join our team! This is a benefit eligble M-F day position.
Works directly with the PACS Administrator and Imaging Leadership on any activities that involve work flow, implementation, and evaluation of future needs for VNA. Coordinates with all staff in order to support the enterprise VNA-NilRead application systems. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Image Resource Center including work ques, internal, external, patient and physician requests.
Supports computer designs in coordination with the PACS Administrator/Image Resource Center to provide accurate data management.
Supports educational activities by participating in instruction for all personnel and physicians to ensure accurate operations of departmental PACS/VNA.
Actively engages with vendor to ensure communication between Radiology department and the vendor.
Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
Performs other responsibilities as needed/assigned.
Minimum of two years of experience with IS applications, computer technology and radiology. Experience requires a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of a radiology department and/or a healthcare facility.
Computer, analytical, communication, problem solver and organization skills required.
Ability to work closely with internal and external customers.
