M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for a Radiologic Technologist at our M Health Fairview clinic in Brooklyn Park, MN.
This is a .6FTE (48 hours per two week pay period) benefit eligible opening. The work schedule is day/evening including every other weekend.
The Radiologic Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The technologist performs a wide variety of complex diagnostic testing in the disciplines of radiology, quality assurance, mammography, and bone densitometry. The technologist is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements.
Prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Determines and revises priorities for diagnostic testing.
Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs.
Communicates effectively with all members of the health care team.
Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedure.
Adheres to radiologic diagnostic testing procedures.
Documents compliance with regulatory agency requirements.
Follows infection control guidelines.
Adheres to safety protocols.
Ensures imaging procedures meet all standards and protocols.
Serves as a resource for other healthcare team members.
Responds appropriately to emergent situations.
Evaluates imaging results for diagnostic quality.
Assesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substances.
Acts as a resource for problem-solving resolution.
Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

BLS certification - Must have a current BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
