Bartlett Hospital is looking to add a Computed Tomography Tech II to our Diagnostic Imaging team!
The Computed Tomography Technologist II (CT Tech II) is an advanced journey level position independently performing the full range of CT exams and procedures under general supervision of the Senior CT Technologist. At this level, the incumbent has: - Completed an accredited technologist program. - Obtained an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification and Computed Tomography Certification. - One or more years of clinical experience as a Radiology Technologist I or six months experience of direct Computed Tomography experience as a CT Tech I.
Primary Role: Performing routine diagnostic CT procedures by producing, assessing, and evaluating images and related data that are used by physicians to render medical diagnosis of diseases and injuries. Provides professional and compassionate patient care. Ability to perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as well as operate a C-arm in the Operating Room if needed.
CT Tech II Specific Duties: Performs all general and Angiography exams with moderate proficiency, competently performs trauma exams, is able to assist with special procedures, and may mentor lower level CT Techs.

Education: Graduation from an accredited technologist program.
Experience: One (1) year of experience as a Radiology Technologist I or Six (6) months of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist.
Certification(s): Current American Registry of Radiological Technologist (A.R.R.T.) registration at time of appointment and for continued employment.
Current Computed Tomography Certification at time of appointment and for continued employment.
Alaska Fluoroscopy Users certification must be obtained within one month of hire.
