Medical Instrument Technician (Diagnostic Ultrasound)
The Medical Instrument Technician (MIT) Diagnostic Ultrasound, uses high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques for medical purposes, and is competent in the production, use, recognition, and analysis of ultrasound images and patterns used for patient diagnosis and treatment. The close date of this announcement has been extended to December 23, 2021. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Performs a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations including but not limited to the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, bladder, order, inferior vena cava, portal vein, renal Doppler, liver Doppler, lower and upper extremity venous, ABI with segmental pressures, upper and lower arterial duplex, mesenteric vein mapping in portables.
