Performs diagnostic Ultrasound and Echocardiogram examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Direct patient responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patient care until the patient is returned to his/her room or until outpatient is discharged. Performs Echocardiology procedures, Transesophageal Echocardiology procedures and bubble studies. Is responsible to take call and responsible for holiday coverage.

Minimum: Certification from accredited program in Ultrasound Technology required. Thorough knowledge of Ultrasound in all forms of diagnostic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy. American Heart Association BLS required.
Preferred: Associates degree in Ultrasound Technology.
Other Qualifications: Ultrasound Vascular requirements: registered in ARDMS in Ultrasound: Abdomen & Vascular, OB (optional). Echo Tech require ARDMS in Echo only.
