You Will Be Responsible For:
Demonstrates strong knowledge base and competency with Cardiovascular data registry definitions and abstraction.
Demonstrates strong knowledge base and competency with Power Insight reporting
Demonstrates strong knowledge base and competency with Crystal Reporting.
Demonstrates strong knowledge base and competency of the Apollo system.
Assumes responsibility for the overall operation and management of Shawnee Mission’s cardiovascular database system.
Facilitates and Coordinates the cardiovascular data collection processes at Shawnee Mission Medical Center by establishing, teaching and coordinating an organized data collection protocol.
Is responsible for ensuring that the individual data abstractors are properly educated on the appropriate system(s) and are maintaining the integrity of the individual database(s)
What You Will Need:
Licensed Registered Nurse
Cardiovascular knowledge and experience
ACC, STS, ICD and other appropriate registries
Coordinates all activities related to Shawnee Mission Medical Center’s cardiovascular database(s). Maintains an efficient and accurate method of collecting, processing and distributing CV related data in a consistent manner while also maintaining consistency of data elements and data definitions across Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
