Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Unit Associate for the Surgical Unit at Morristown Medical Center. This is an evening shift, 3p-11p, and must work every other weekend. Morrisotwn Medical Center's Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute performs more heart surgeries than any other hospital in New Jersey.

• Answering the phone, call bells, updating and organizing the medical record
• Addressing visitors and physicians, organization of the unit, forms and office supplies
• Assisting physicians with electronic order entry
• Unit responsibilities as assigned by charge nurse

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Relevant Experience:

• Unit Representative experience in a hospital and/or medical office setting is strongly preferred
• Medical terminology preferred
