Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Medical Office Associate at Overlook Medical Center. The hours for this position will be 7:00am - 11:00 pm. The department needs someone who can work weekends as well as some Holidays. As a Department of the Hospital, coverage is required 365 days a year, regardless of weather, the department needs candidates who are able to commit to this type of work arrangement.
Selected candidates will:
Position requires correspondence with Radiologists, Residents, ER Physicians, Technologists, Nursing units and Physician offices
Meticulous logging and reporting of STAT/Critical results
CD and film duplication
General office duties
Also requires registering patients, interviewing patients, verify all patient information
Assist technologists with moving and positioning
Work closely with departmental manager/supervisor
Perform other administrative functions associated with department needs
Training other team members as needed by the Radiology Department
Team member will be responsible to know all departmental areas In the Radiology Department
Team member can be moved to satellite AHS locations as needed
Shift change is a possibility depending on departmental needs
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Epic experience Is a plus
Hospital experience ls preferred
Computer experience preferred (Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel)
Excellent communications skills
