Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Cardiac Sonographer for the Cardiac Services Non-Invasive department working 2-3 days per week (primarily 8AM-4PM, 3PM-7PM), including weekends as required. This position is located at Morristown Medical Center.

Performs comprehensive Echo exams.
Follows established protocols to verify, plan, set up, perform and report appropriate echo examinations.
Verifies identity and Informs and observes patient during procedure to ensure patient education, cooperation and safety.
Completes clerical tasks associated with echo tests.
Completes and records all testing information accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
Communicates with physicians, patients, and other hospital personnel.
Maintains pleasant and informative manner in communicating with patients, physicians, and other hospital personnel.
Enhances environment of teamwork. Shows motivation, enthusiasm, acceptance of responsibility and personal accountability regarding daily duties.
Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner. Cleans patient areas after each use and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly environment in the lab.
High school diploma or GED
Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology Program preferred
RCDS with ARDMS or CCI Registry Required
At least 3 years' experience performing Adult Echo, TEE, Stress Echo studies in a hospital setting
At least 3 years' experience performing TAVR, Mitral Clips and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy assessments
Must be proficient with Pedof probe
