Atlantic Health System is seeking a PART-TIME Radiographer for the Operating Room at Overlook Medical Center.
The shift is to be determined working 8 hours shift 3x week with call and weekends as required.
*Call is for 1 week every 5 weeks and 1 weekend every 5 weeks.
A Health care professional who operates diagnostic mobile technological equipment to examine patients undergoing surgical procedures
Able to collaborate with team members and physicians to perform appropriate techniques
Ensures compliance with established safety regulations and procedures when operating radiation equipment to prevent ill-exposure to ionizing radiation
Some of the qualities needed to be effective on the job include attention to details, IT skills, and teamwork ability
Recording and storing of patients' examination results, ensuring compliance with Data Protection Act and Patient Confidentiality codes
Regularly inspect diagnostic equipment to ensure they are functional and operate efficiently
Must promote the Atlantic Health System PRIDE Values
Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Radiology Technology Program
HS Degree Required
NJ State License required
ARRT Certification and current active registration required
Must maintain valid certification by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support(BLS)/CPR
