The Inova Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a board certified/eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist .
Inova seeks an experienced, board certified/eligible, non-invasive cardiologist to work clinically full-time at its outpatient office in our Eastern Region with Inpatient rounding at our Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. This physician will further develop a growing clinical practice that drives volume for Inova's cardiac diagnostic and imaging center and will take call at both locations.
Inova Non-Invasive Program Highlights:
- Inpatient Coverage: Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Mount Vernon Hospitals with APP coverage at both hospitals
- Opportunities to cover inpatient, CCU and echo services at Fairfax hospital
- Outpatient Imaging responsibilities: 2-3 reading days a month, 15-20 echos and 5 nuclear studies per day
- Call: approximately 10 weekends per year and 2-3 weeknight call coverages per month
- Opportunity for research and education with Cardiology Fellowship Program

Qualified Candidates:
- Board eligible/board certified in cardiology
- Credentialed in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology with skills in interpreting carotid and peripheral vascular non-invasive studies.
- Nuclear/Echo Board Certified
