Position Summary: Works under the Director of Imaging and staff Radiologists. Performs a variety of diagnostic radiology and all breast imaging procedures, demonstrating competence in positioning, technical factors and equipment use. Responsible for producing quality diagnostic studies, entering data on the history sheet and providing quality patient care.
Minimum Requirements: Must be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of technical factors, radiation safety, positioning and patient care for routine diagnostic radiology exams Must have the ability to work with all age groups, demonstrating the knowledge of the special needs for each group, as they relate to radiology examinations
Education/Licenses/Certifications: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required AA or AS degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an AMA approved school of Radiological Technology Must have and maintain current CPR/BLS certification Current ARRT certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Current WSRT certification from the State of Washington Department of Health Services
