UCHealth has an excellent opportunity for an Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) to work for UCHealth Anesthesiology Memorial Central Hospital in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. If you're an AA that provides high-quality, personalized care, look no further than UCHealth. In this role, you will:
- Enjoy a collaborative team care work environment.
- Work in a Level I and III Trauma Facilities and an ASC.
- Our schedule supports a work-life balance and flexibility with 10-houror 12-hour shifts, 1 weekend per month, and in-house call.
- Enjoy a wide spectrum of case types to include: OB, GI, vascular, general surgery.
Responsibilities
- Performs and documents a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of thepatient.
- Developsand implements an anesthetic plan of care, including monitoring modalities andpost-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
- Selects,obtains and administers the anesthetic plan of care, including induction,maintenance and emergence phase anesthesia.
- Recognizesalterations in physiologic responses to the surgical procedure and/or theanesthetic, takes appropriate action and notifies the responsible physician asindicated.
Withinscope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and theability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-pacedenvironment and take appropriate action.
Upto $15,000 sign-on bonus!
The pay range for this position is: $0.010000 - $99.04/ hour. Pay is dependenton applicant's relevant experience. Anannual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational andindividual performance.

Otherinformation:
- Minimum Required Education: Master of Science.
- Required Licensure/Certification: Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant.Certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant by the NCCAA (NationalCommission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants). ACLS and PALS.
- MinimumExperience: None required.
IFAPPLICABLE: BLS through the American Heart Association or the American RedCross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLSor CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life supportcertification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association orthe American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Crossfor the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will needto be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)
