Job Summary

This role will be supporting all financial aspects for Surgical Services inclusive of the following departments:

• Operating Room
• Surgical Appliances
• Same Day Surgery
• Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Central Sterile Processing Unit
• Anesthesia
• Endoscopy
• Preadmission Testing.

The responsibilities for this position include planning, developing and coordinating the preparation of financial analyses and reports including, but not limited to, fiscal year and capital plan budgets, monthly financial statements, service line presentations, statistical reports, cost analyses and other financial information.  In addition, this role is expected to perform complex and specialized assignments in assigned area of expertise, take a lead role in coordinating complex projects, and act as a primary contact for operational managers by advising them on their financial position, cash flows, accounts, budgets, budget requests and related financial matters.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Work requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• CPA is desirable.

Experience

• Work requires a minimum of six years experience in financial management, cost accounting or a field directly related to specialized area of assignment.
• Financial analysis and budgeting experience highly preferred
