Performs a variety of Ultrasound exams, including vascular, OB/GYN and general medical diagnostic.  Demonstrates an ability to work well with patients of all ages.  Knowledgeable in a variety of ultrasound equipment to include: set-up, utilization, trouble shooting, and proper care of equipment. 

Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, positioning and Ultrasound techniques. Knowledge of physics and medical terminology. Ability to determine machine parameters to achieve optimal Images.  Ability to exercise discretion and good judgement with patients during Ultrasound procedures. Ability to position patient and adjust equipment to produce optimal images. Ability to assemble all relevant patient data including clinical history and physician orders and consistently ensure the correct exam is performed on the correct patient.  Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound training program. ARDMS certified in two or more specialized Ultrasound modalities. Minimum of two years experience as a Ultrasound Sonographer
