Mercy Clinic is seeking a full-time Endocrinologist to join one other experienced Endocrinologist in a dynamic, innovative practice in Joplin, Missouri (or at our clinic in Galena, KS 10 miles from our Joplin Hospital/Clinic). You'll find the freedom to work independently while getting the support of a large network. Work alongside an expert team of care professionals who genuinely care for one another and share your passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Mercy Clinic Endocrinology:
Thriving Endocrinology practice with a focus on Metabolic health and Obesity Medicine currently consists of 1 physician and 1 APRN
Practice is accredited through MBSAQIP for Bariatric Medicine and Surgery
Reason for recruitment is growth and need in the area
Call is currently 1:3, very light inpatient load without weekend coverage
FNA is done though Intervention Radiology but open to changing structure
Opportunity to work with an APRN, if desired
System wide EPIC EHR
A large, established multi-specialty network
Opportunity to teach medical students with a stipend and opportunity to do research and contribute to didactics as an adjunct assistant professor
Collaboration with bariatric surgery team with access to Body Fat Percentage analyzer and opportunity to conduct quality improvement projects
