CT Technologist I - Computed Tomography - FT/Varied

SUMMARY: Performs a variety of standard and specialty Computed Tomography (CT) procedures with accuracy, responsibly administering ionizing radiation appropriately, producing quality studies under a variety of conditions with little supervision. Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, CT physics and image production. Assists in the identification and resolution of work process issues within the department. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum six (6) months Computed Tomography experience preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Bilingual skills preferred

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. and a graduate of formal program in Radiologic Technology or a College Degree - 2 year Radiology
• College Degree 4 year preferred
• BLS - Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
• CRT - CA Radiologic Technologist Lic
• RT-R - ARRT Reg Tech Radiography
• RT-CT - ARRT Reg Tech Computed Tomography within 12 months of hire or transfer into position required

POSITION DETAILS:

• Full-time, 80 hours per pay period. Varied shifts, Weekends and holidays required

PAY RANGE:

• $40.85 - 65.60
