Carondelet Medical Group, a leading provider of cardiac care in Southern Arizona, is actively recruiting a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our well-established and highly respected practice in Tucson, Arizona.
This is a full-time, employed opportunity with a physician-driven team committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
Position Highlights:
Established, collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers
Typical work week schedule – 35–45 hours during clinic week
Hospital call is 7 days at a time during the day, alternating PM STEMI call with two other providers
STEMI call is compensated
NP coverage to help with hospital rounding
Census: Clinic = 24–30 | Hospital = 10–25
Practice supported by Carondelet’s extensive hospital network and infrastructure
Procedural capabilities: coronary angiography and PCI
Advanced technology available: laser atherectomy, rotational atherectomy, orbital atherectomy, and impella support
ECMO support and Onsite CT Surgery Backup
Candidate Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain one
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, and a passion for excellent patient care
